Private Events
Cause is the perfect place to host your corporate dinner, company happy hour or nonprofit fundraiser. Enjoy your meeting or party even more, knowing that the money you spend is going to support great causes. If your event or happy hour is fairly casual, just come on it and have fun at Cause. If you prefer to have your own private section of the bar, please email us at events@causedc.org to start planning your event (allow 2-3 days for a response due to high volume of reqeusts).
We don't charge room fees, but we do have minimums. These minimums ensure that we are not making less money from the space than we normally would during the time you are reserving it. Less money would mean less money for our organizations, and no one wants that!
Innovation Lounge
The ground level lounge can accommodate 24 people for a group dinner, or up to 50 for a private party. It is a great intimate space for birthday dinners or a late night party for just you and your group. People love having a bartender all to themselves and the ability to play whatever music they want. Wireless internet is available and a flatscreen tv is present for any videos. This is the most private of the three areas.
The Treehouse
The Treehouse is a creatively designed upstairs space that is furnished with wood church pews, wood tables from salvaged trees, and tree branches climbing into the skylights. This light filled space can accomodate 30+ people or can be divided for groups of 15-20. It has a TV if needed and direct access to the bar to meet all of your food and drink needs.
Stage Right
Stage Right is the back area upstairs and the biggest. It can seat up to 44 people or fit up to 60 with some of the furniture cleared out. Tables covered with 1950s NatGeo maps are a great conversation piece, surrounded by the turn of the century barstools. It is a prime spot for parties that will feature speakers or presentations as it is equipped with a premium sound system, stage, microphone, and projector.
